Mitchell Brown

Sports Physiotherapist

After graduating from the University of Sydney in 2015 with a Master of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Sports Science, Mitch has worked in private practice with a focus on complex lumbopelvic injuries. Since 2018, Mitch has additionally worked with The Scots College Rugby team, providing on-field triage, pre-game strapping and post-game management of injuries. During this time, Mitch has had exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal issues and can quickly assess, diagnose, treat and manage these injuries. He has a particular interest in managing complex lower back and pelvic pain as well as injury prevention.

Having played many sports growing up, Mitch is no stranger to injury himself. The combination of his knowledge and experience has highlighted the need to understand an injury, how it can impact your life, and, most importantly, how to manage it long term. Mitch believes that “through understanding your own body and how it works, you have the best chance to stay healthy, avoid injury, and remain active to enjoy your life and body!

Fun fact: Mitch is an avid golfer and lifelong St George Dragons supporter. When not in the clinic or adventuring with his wife, he enjoys spending time grinding at the driving range.
