If you are in the childbearing year, or are experiencing issues like leaking when you sneeze or exercise or on the way to the toilet, a sensation of bulging in your vagina, pain during sex, difficulty with bowel motions, or any other pelvic floor concerns, we’re here for you.
For a detailed diagnosis and the best possible outcome, our approach may include an internal vaginal examination, maintaining a bladder diary and having a thorough discussion with you.
We also utilise Real Time Ultrasound as an assessment tool. This allows us to provide visual feedback on the functioning of your pelvic floor. It helps us analyse bladder filling and provides insights into how well your body performs the exercises we teach you. This holistic approach ensures we tailor our treatment to your specific needs effectively.
Our exercise based approach is reflected in the focus on a comprehensive home exercise program, which we often encourage to follow with 1:1 exercise sessions and small group exercise classes to ensure best possible longterm outcomes.
Pre-natal classes are specifically designed to assist in maintaining best possible strength and functionality during pregnancy as well as preparing your body for delivery of your baby. They are full of valuable pre-natal tips and education.
Post-natal classes include a variety of abdominal wall recovery exercises, pelvic floor strengthening exercises, spinal mobility exercises and general strengthening exercises. They assist in recovery from pregnancy and labour and allow you to find your new normal.
